HelloFresh’s Bacon, Apple & Cheddar Spinach Salad is a “Ready, Set, Lunch!” special. The total time from start to finish is 15 minutes, so you can make it the morning before a busy day. However, does this meal sacrifice taste for time?
Very few prep steps. Very quick meal. Very little cleanup. This is as close to a “toss it together and go meal” as you can get.
Sweet from the apples. Salty from the walnuts and bacon. Bitter from the cranberries and honey Dijon dressing. Everything paired nicely, although I would swap out for another dressing next time.
The flavor profile was diverse and complex, and each bite tasted different than the next. While it did not take long to prepare, the meal had a variety of balanced flavors.
